Our Lace Day
In early Spring, Risboro' Lacemakers hosts its annual Lace Day at Haddenham Village Hall. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend the day making lace, purchasing supplies and catching up with fellow members of the lacemaking community. There is plenty of space in the bright, airy hall to move around freely and onsite parking is free.
The day includes:
- Tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival
- A themed exhibition featuring work by Risboro' Lacemakers' members
- A general raffle
- At least two suppliers including one general and one bobbin
- A second hand sales table
- Tea and coffee served at lunchtime (we bring our own lunch)
- A special raffle with the chance to win a beautiful hand sewn bag
- Tea, coffee and homemade cakes served mid afternoon
Tickets cost £6.00 each.
All profits made on the day are donated to charity. This year's chosen charities are Thames Valley Air Ambulance and a Motor Neurone Disease charity.
Our next Lace Day will be:
